Handover alerts
Any note flagged for RN follow-up or incident within the last 12 hours appears prominently at the top of the manager dashboard. Click any alert to open the full note, export it as PDF, or dismiss it once actioned.
Tabs
- Notes
- Hierarchical view of all finalised notes grouped by month, then day, then shift. Switch to Search view within this tab for full-text search across transcripts and summaries — filter by resident, staff, date range, or flag status.
- Missing
- Residents missed in the last 24 hours. Shows a live count badge when open items exist. Backfilled notes appear here once submitted. Items can be dismissed once actioned.
- Residents
- Manage resident records — add, deactivate, change room, update date of birth.
- Staff
- Invite care staff, set roles, manage active status, reset PINs, deactivate accounts.
- Audit Log
- Immutable record of every access, change and export — loads 50 entries at a time with a “Load more” control. Required for Quality Standards audits.
Default template
Managers can designate one template as the default, which appears pre-selected when carers start a new recording. This streamlines the workflow for facilities with a standard template.
Staff view switch
Managers can switch to the staff view at any time to record a note themselves (for example, if covering a shift or demonstrating to a new carer). On desktop the "Staff view" button is visible in the header; on mobile it is accessible via the ⚙ gear menu.
Theme
The moon/sun icon in the header toggles between light and dark mode. Preference is saved per-browser. The default is light mode. The theme can also be changed from the staff dashboard header.
Missing tab badge
When there are open missing notes, the Missing tab shows a count badge. The number updates in real time as notes are dismissed or added.
