Shift tiles
Each resident active for the facility appears as a tile on the dashboard. Tiles in the "Ready to document" section have an amber left border; completed tiles have a green left border and show a ✓ badge. If the finalised note carries an RN Follow-Up or Incident flag, a coloured badge (RN or INC) appears on the completed tile so the incoming shift can see it at a glance.
Shift progress indicator
A gradient progress bar below the shift header shows how many residents have been covered. The bar animates from blue to green when all residents are done.
Handover alerts
If the previous shift flagged RN follow-up or an incident within the last 12 hours, those notes surface as "Handover alerts" at the top of the dashboard. Tap an alert to read the full note, review the resident’s recent history, and dismiss once actioned.
Resident history
Tap any handover alert or resident tile to see the resident’s recent notes and shift history. This context helps you understand continuity of care and follow up on previous concerns.
Missed shifts
If a resident was missed on a prior shift within the last 24 hours, you can add a note retroactively — it is clearly labelled as backdated for audit.
Theme
The moon/sun icon in the top-right header toggles between light and dark mode. Your preference is saved in the browser and persists across sessions. There is no auto/system mode — the default is light.
