Notive gives carers two quick flags at finalisation time:
- RN Follow-Up Required
- Use for anything needing registered-nurse review — e.g. new pain, skin changes, medication concerns.
- Incident Detected
- Use when a fall, behavioural incident, injury or SIRS-reportable event has occurred.
Either flag elevates the note into the Handover alerts panel on both the staff and manager dashboards for the next 12 hours.
Recommended workflow
- Carer finalises the note with the appropriate flag.
- Manager or on-duty RN sees the alert, opens the note, and actions it.
- Once actioned, dismiss the alert. It will not reappear.
