Alerts & incidents

RN follow-up, incident flags and the SIRS (Serious Incident Response Scheme) workflow.

Notive gives carers two quick flags at finalisation time:

RN Follow-Up Required
Use for anything needing registered-nurse review — e.g. new pain, skin changes, medication concerns.
Incident Detected
Use when a fall, behavioural incident, injury or SIRS-reportable event has occurred.

Either flag elevates the note into the Handover alerts panel on both the staff and manager dashboards for the next 12 hours.

Recommended workflow

  1. Carer finalises the note with the appropriate flag.
  2. Manager or on-duty RN sees the alert, opens the note, and actions it.
  3. Once actioned, dismiss the alert. It will not reappear.
